For the second consecutive year, the FCA Group's commercial vehicle brand is Official Sponsor of the FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship, now in Europe after four thrilling races. Championship leader Tony Cairoli is the brand's ambassador: the eight-times world champion epitomises the ambition of a fast-evolving brand which will be presenting major developments of the range again in 2017
The FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship comes to Europe: after races in Qatar, Indonesia, Argentina and Mexico, on Sunday 16 April the riders will compete on the Pietramurata track, in the Trentino Region. The first European meeting is also the first in Italy, with a second visit scheduled for 25 June at the Ottobiano (Pavia) circuit. Tony Cairoli will be defending his leadership from his rivals' attacks at the recently renewed Pietramurata race track. As always, Fiat Fullback will be at his side.
The Fiat Professional pick-up truck is the product hero of the FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship official fleet. Fullback is perfect for any working requirements or for leisure: robust, reliable and with impressive load capacity, it boasts a payload of more than a tonne and over three tonnes of towable weight. Furthermore, by implementing all-wheel drive and a 4WD electronic selector, it can easily tackle the roughest terrain in the toughest conditions, like when travelling off-road carrying a heavy load.
Courage, speed and the ability to overcome adversities and the unexpected: these are the qualities that have made Tony Cairoli's career unique. These characteristics, perfected on racing tracks worldwide, are supported by innate talent. Talent is also an abundant feature of the new Fiat Professional workhorse, tailored to customers' real needs with the aid of a wide offering soon to be further expanded. The Fiat Professional brand is already a "full liner", capable of handling all the market's challenges: there could be no better starting-point for continual evolution. It is no coincidence that the brand's ambassador is an Italian racing icon and eight time World Champion in the category, last season's runner-up and current championship leader. His will to win is still completely undimmed.
The partnership between Fiat Professional and the FIM MXGP Motocross World Championship is based on authentic shared values of enthusiasm, determination and constant commitment, all embodied by Tony Cairoli, who is bringing all his usual tenacity and courage to this season's world championships, reflecting all the love of a challenge central to the Fiat Professional mentality. After a very successful 2016, Fiat Professional is preparing for an exciting 2017, packed with innovations and new developments which will complement the range even further and flank the motocross scene and the various stages of the world championship.
