After the success of the first French “Motor Village”, opened last year at Cannes, the second Fiat Group Automobiles centre opens in Paris this week. This is a continuously evolving project which began 4 years ago with the Mirafiori Motor Village in Turin, the first multi-purpose Fiat Group site in the world which, with 70,000 square metres, is the largest exhibition space in Europe dedicated to the car.

Fiat Group Automobiles has chosen to sponsor the eighth Salone Internazionale del Gusto, the gourmet food show, which will be held from 21st to 25th October at Lingotto Fiere Expo in Turin, as Technical Partner. This collaboration springs from the shared inspiring values of the show, the "Terra Madre" event and - more in general - all Slow Food projects, based on the principles of “good, clean and fair”.

Today the 5 millionth vehicle came off the production line at Fiat Group Automobile’s SATA plant in San Nicola di Melfi (Potenza, Italy), one of the world’s most productive automotive factories. The vehicle was a Punto Evo 1.4 Emotion, 105 CV, 5 doors, in red, a model which evolved from the Grande Punto, and a car which is at the forefront of motoring innovation, in terms of respecting the environment, of safety and style.
